Reading another book today and I have to come up and write this piece for you.
Look.
I am not some “motivational speaker” or some “positive-thinking advocate” that get absolutely amped up for no reasons. I respect that but it is not what I do.
I am just a normal person like you, sharing what I have learnt from books, famous people interviews, courses etc.
Today’s topic: Life and Dealth
If we live to 80 years old, we have 700,000 hours on this Planet. That is *if* we live to 80, which is already quite good.
About 1/3 of your life is spent in bed, so you will have rougly 500,000 hours.
You can view these 500,000 hours like chips in a casiono.
We are all gamblers sitting on a roulette table of life. Playing this game called “Life”. With these 500,000 chips, we can do whatever we like with it.
But remember one thing — It is a zero-sum game. Spending one chip on one thing inevitably means one less chip could be spent on another. Your decisions cannot be reversed. Every second, every moment, once spent on one thing, could not be spent on another.
Spend your chips wisely.
I do not have any suggestions on how you should spend your chips. It is your own life afterall. Do it your way. Do what you think is right, what you believe should be done. You might not have a particular plan. Start planning. The plan does not have to be perfect. Most “successful” (whatever that means) people do not have a perfect plan when they started anyways.
I just want to offer you the perspective, not the actual plan.
You have got this in you. Believe in yourself.
I have been averaging 4-5 hours of sleep a day in the last month or so, it has been taking its toll on my body. But work is work, I always tell myself “Rest at the end. Not in the middle.”. But enough about me, I want to help you, that is why I have taken my time to write this to you. I don’t know who is reading, but if you are reading this, hope this little piece has triggered something inside you, has sparked up a little inspiration for you.
With pure bro-love for my fellow readers,
Ryan
