Sad story :-( (buts it’s true)

  • by

I started going to the gym 6 years ago. My mother discouraged me and hated it for the first 3 years.

If you know me, you know I love my mother a lot. But to be truly me, I must temporarily ignore her opinion and do what I love first. Today she’s happy that I am stronger, healthier, brighter.

Most people place comments on you that you don’t agree with.

They may think you are stupid.

They may hate on you.

They may gossip and label you.

Now many of the time it’s not that they don’t love you, but just that they don’t understand you.

They don’t know where you are coming from.

They don’t know your motivations.

They don’t know your pain.

But this is YOUR life.

Not your parents’, not your friends’.

Why place their opinions before yours and suppress yourself?

You deserve to live your life your way.

Look. I have been on a philosophical-book-marathon recently.

One of the great books I recommend is “Living on your own terms” by Osho.

It goes deep on the idea of being your true self above.

I just finished gym and now going to school.
